Scientific Method
Today in science I learnt that Method is the M word for procedure. Yesterday I learnt how to create a scientific method & that when doing a practical or an experiment to never take anyone's tools & use it for your experiment because you might get invalid data.

Measurement video - Bloopers
This is a blooper of a video we were supposed to make about the measurement of our class. Our task was to create a video of how we measure our class. We didn't get to create an actual video but we did make heaps of bloopers. My next step is to create an actual video and post it on my blog. What I found challenging in this attempt to make a video was trying not to laugh & not be so nervous. I really enjoyed the laughs in this video.

Ihumatao
This term in Social Studies we have been learning about Ihumatao and what is happening on the land. We got given 3 focus questions which were:
Why does the government want the land at Ihumatao?
Why are protesters aiming to stop housing development at Ihumatao?
Why does Maori not want to give the land?
Before I started my research I believed that the Maori were being selfish for not giving the land to the government so they could build more houses for those who are in need. But after my research this is what I found out and what I thought about it. Our task was to write a 600+ word essay about what we learnt.

Our task was to figure out all the possible outcomes if you had a yellow wall, white carpet and cream curtains. Here is what I figured out.
This was okay to make it wasnt hard but it wasnt easy. I enjoyed making this cause I love decorating and organising.

Kiwiana - My Culture
This term in Social Studies we have been exploring Kiwiana. We got to visit Waitangi Treaty Grounds and explore the background of our home and and the history that got us to where we are now. We also got to create so much icons and symbols that represents our Maori culture and where we come from.
While we were in Waitangi we got to play around with so much technology and when we finally figured out how to work them our task was to create a world on VR ( Virtual Reality) that showed everything we learnt.

Probability Art
This is my Probability Art. We created this to make learning about Probability vocabulary fun. I really enjoyed making this cause it was fun to play around with all the tools and all the different colours.
I've learnt that probability can go no higher than 1 and no l lower than 0. Impossible is 0 or 0%, Certain is 1 or 100%. So because Possible is in the middle its either 1/2, 0.5 or 50%.
If I roll a dice the probability of getting a 5 is 1/6. We have 6 as the denominator cause there are only 6 possible outcomes.
